Murphy-Goode 2008 Pinot Grigio: Unpretentious and fun. Pinot Grigio is a wonderful wine to enjoy on the porch, the backyard, the cul-de-sac, or wherever you may find yourself. A long-lasting crisp wine loaded with flavors of spiced pear, grapefruit, white peach, and just a touch of lemon lime. Enjoy with friends or all by yourself. Either way you have made a “Goode” choice.

To us, there’s nothing better than enjoying a glass of our Pinot Grigio with grilled chicken or fish. Or light pastas such as linguine and clam sauce or angel hair pasta with shrimp.

Baqueano 2008 White Wine: 60% Sauvignon Blanc & 40% Semillon. Vinification Process: Reductive technique under controlled temperature for both varieties.  Yellow color with green hints. Citric aromas with honey, herbs and tropical fruits. Good acidity, well-balanced, elegant finish.  Food Pairing: Arctic char with butter sauce, Crab cakes, fresh goat cheese.

Vidal-Fleury Cotes du Rhone Blanc: Youthful with a pale gold core and a clear rim. Medium plus intensity with a floral perfume note and a slightly nutty, white peach character.  Dry, medium bodied with balanced acidity and fairly high alcohol. Notes of apricots, nuts, spice and honey with a hint of citrus flavors on the finish.

Quo Macabeo Chardonnay: 2009 “The wine is pale yellow in color with a broad ripe nose of spicy apple and an interesting, complex palate.

Terrific value.” “VERY GOOD”.

Concannon Chardonnay: The 2008 Chardonnay, Conservancy is a wonderfully expressive wine that is rich and creamy yet fresh. Ripe tree fruit flavors of peach, pear and guava show on the nose and palate. Hints of lemon, herbs and brioche balance out the fruitiness, and there is a creamy and nuanced finish.  Suggested Pairings: Herbed pork loin or pasta with your favorite cream sauce.

Leaping Lizard 2008 Chardonnay: Our Chardonnay is elegant in style and exhibits rich aromas of spiced apple and lemongrass. These aromas are mirrored on the palate with flavors of citrus and tart apple. On the palate, the wine is bright on entry with rich bread notes filling out the mid-palate. The finish is lush and round with lingering fruit flavors.

Vega Sindoa Rose: The 2009 Rosé is made from 100% Garnacha. Medium pink-colored, it reveals a lovely perfume of cherry blossom, rose petal, and rhubarb. Supple and dry on the palate with plenty of fruity flavor, it is meant for drinking over the next 12–18 months.

 

SeaGlass 2009 Riesling: SeaGlass Riesling’s honey and floral aromas introduce a slightly sweet yet refreshing palate of apples and pears, leading into a smooth finish. This versatile wine is exquisite on its own or can be paired with spicy Asian-inspired dishes or a rich fruit dessert.

Montesinos 2005 Jumilla: Complex notes of tobacco and spice box combine with layered richness abd broad, full-bodied flavors in this extraordinary wine from Spain’s southeast. The finish is long and supple with earth tones that linget on the palate. Ten months in French and American oak provide a light touch of coconut and vanilla for a perfectly balaced finish.

Quo Grenache: The scent of red cherry and strawberries is fresh and exotic, an invitation to take sip after sip of this spicy grenache.

Jacuzzi 08 Merlot: Jacuzzi Rosso di Sette Fratelli has layers of flavor…chocolate, cherry and green olive work together to create a deliciously complex and flavorful smooth wine finishing with silky tannins.

 

Vidal-Fleury 2007 Cotes du Rhone Rouge: Brilliant garnet colour with bramble fruits and spices on the nose. The mouth reveals a wine with rounded tannins, full-body and a long lasting aromatic intensity. Proof that Côtes-du-Rhône can be a serious and elegant wine. Suggested Food Match: Red meat (steaks), white meat (veal, pork), spicy meat (lamb curry), pizzas, stews (beef and lamb), charcuterie and cheeses.

Torres Sangre de Toro: A fine wine, made from Garnacha and Cariñena.  Deep ruby colour with a hint of ochre. Rich complex Mediterranean aromas with exuberant notes of spices and blackberries. Velvety tannins are noted on the palate with elegant flavours of liquorice and small dark forest fruits (blueberries and blackcurrants). Superb with roasts, casseroles, game and traditional Spanish meat dishes.

La Baronne Rouge: 60% Carignan, 40% Grenache. A delighful blend, Cotes de Rhone in style, with beautiful aromas of freshly baked strawberry pie and hints of cinnamon. Flavor bursts of strawberries and spicy Bing cherries.

06 Sonoma Red: The 2004 vintage of RED is a blend of Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc and Zinfandel. Full bodied and full flavored, with ripe red fruit character and spicy aromas, RED complements any occasion.

2008 Bohemian Highway California Cabernet Sauvignon- Is a dark and concentrated, with layers of black cherry, chocolate and plum. Take a little detour and enjoy the ride!

Leaping Lizard 2008 Zinfandel: Showcases bright fruit aromas of blueberry, raspberry, and blackberry layered with hints of graham cracker and caramel. This wine is aged in a mix of French, Eastern European and American oak barrels for 11 months, which contributes a hint of toasty oak to the nose. On the palate, this wine exhibits lingering flavors of ripe red berry fruit, black olive and graham cracker and slight black pepper on the finish.

Tre 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon: Shows dark berry, jam and toasty aromas. Rich ripe fruit and savory oak flavors harmonize into a pleasingly broad finish.

Concannon Petite Sirah:  The 2007 Petite Sirah, Conservancy has fantastic depth and character. It exhibits a rich nose of fresh berry fruit, and the flavorful palate shows blackberries, chocolate, mocha and plums. Subtle notes of molasses, cedarwood, and ripe mulberries are complemented by soft, creamy oak tones and a smooth, silky finish. Suggested Pairings: barbecued chicken or your favorite lamb recipe.

Concannon Cabernet Sauvignon: The 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon, conservancy is a full-bodied wine, rich with flavors of black cherry and vanilla oak. An enticing palate reveals blackberries, dark plums and cassis, and hints of dark chocolate and nutmeg. Subtle spices on the back palate lead to a smooth finish.  Suggested Pairings: Your favorite cut of beef or a cheese plate.

Tre 2007 Syrah: Is produced from grapes grown in premium winegrowing regions of California. This wine opens with dancing notes of strawberry, watermelon and berries. The palate displays tangy sweet intensity with flavors of currant, cranberry and cinnamon.

San Silvestro Piemonte DOC Barbera: Deep, bright ruby red, with a fresh opening; bursting with hints of ripe berries, with cherries and jam making it nicely soft on the palate.

Food pairing notes Cold meats, pasta, red meats, chilled in summer with salads or a snack.

Tarrica 2007 Cabernet Sauvignon: The complex nose exhibits black cherry, cocoa powder, cedar and spice nuances. A full-bodied wine with an exceptional fruit to tannin balance, it finishes with berry fruit, cedar and a touch of spice.

This rich, mouth-filling wine matches well with beef, lamb, game meats and hard cheeses and will enhance a hearty stew or roast. Aged this Paso Robles Cabernet Sauvignon in a combination of new and used French and American oak barrels for 20 months.

Queen of Hearts 2005 Merlot: With abundant black cherry and raspberry fruit character, this Merlot is ready to enjoy now and over the next 2-3 years.

Folie a Deux 2008 Menage a Trois: Even if red wine is not your speed, give our Ménage à Trois Red a try. This wine exposes the fresh, ripe, jam-like fruit that is the calling card of California wine. Three saucy grapes make up the blend. Zinfandel adds a juicy character, Merlot mellows and Cabernet adds backbone. Forward, spicy and soft, this delicious dalliance makes the perfect trio.

Tarrica 2008 Zinfandel: Ripe berry flavors wrapped with cedar box and caramel tones. The body is full with balanced tannins and berry fruit carries long into the finish revealing creme brulé nuances.

Serve this wine with a wide range of cuisine including grilled meats, pastas, beef stew and pork chops. Bring this wine to a barbecue or let it compliment your favorite pizza.

Alverdi Sangiovese: has a bright ruby red color and an appealing floral bouquet. On the palate it is fresh and lively with flavors of dry cherry and spice. This wine marries perfectly with grilled or roasted meats and pastas with tomato based sauces. It can also be served slightly chilled as an accompaniment to dining “Al Fresco” on a warm summer evening.

Jaxon Keys Syrah:  Mendocino Grown against the oak covered hills on our Wilson Vineyard and exibits fruit-forward flavors of currant jam, black cherry and spice backed by lush tannins and bound by leather. Gold Medal — San Francisco International Wine Competition

Baqueano 08 Cabernet Sauvignon/Malbec: Young and unoaked red blend from Patagonia. Very deep color of violet / ruby. There are ripe brambly berries & cherry on the nose, plum skin, & pepper, making for a pretty assertive package. Mid palate is fruit forward with cassis & ripe red fruit. Grape tannins providing structure and enveloping fruit for med+ length finish. The malbec makes it more friendly, the cab brings structure and acid.

This wine will pair nicely with giant amounts of steak & other grilled meats, or hard cheeses. Patagonia. Twenty day fermentation and one hundred percent malolactic fermentation. Young and unoaked.

 

Coastline 08 Cabernet Sauvignon: Our Coastline Cabernet is a concentrated wine with a full body and bold structure. Aromas of cassis and crushed red berries are layered with hints of vanilla and dried herbs. The palate mirrors these aromas of red fruit flavors and a hint of spice. This wine was aged in a mix of French and American oak barrels giving the wine a soft mouthfeel and subtle oak notes on the lingering finish.

 

Casabella House Jam Chillin Red – “HJ”: Made from the Sangiovese grapes and a small percentage of red Canaiolo grapes from the choicest growing zones. To obtain the striking features of this Chianti, it is aged from two years in barrels, allowed by 4 months in the bottle, highlighting its aroma and refining its body and soft texture. Ruby red with shadings of crimson, its intense bouquet and well- balanced structure are perfect for drinking with roast meat or sharp cheeses.
